CAMI DE CAVALLS
Our routes go onto the Camí de Cavalls and offer a wide and diverse view of unspoiled landscapes around the island.
The Camí de Cavalls is a path that was used to defend the Menorcan coast. It was established in 1330 at the time of King James II, who established a law where the kingdom’s settlers were obliged to maintain an armed horse for the defence of the island and they guarded the coast through this path. Centuries later, it was expanded by the French and reused by the British when they dominated Menorca during the 18th century. It was also used as a right-of-way to communicate farms and recently, due to popular demand and also thanks to recovery work carried out, it has become a public footpath that goes around the entire island.

Recommended: for all levels, beginners or expert riders. We adapt the route to the client’s level. From 7 years old with notions of horse riding or from 12 years old with no experience.

We adjust the rhythm of the excursion according to the ability and the wishes of the clients. We can offer a leisurely walk to enjoy the scenery or a trot and gallop excursion for more experienced riders.

Menorcan dressage initiation program
We offer a 5 day course of Menorquin dressage classes.

What you will learn on this program:
You will learn how to start to ride in the traditional Menorcan way. You will gain an understanding of the tradition and we will teach you to prepare and handle the horse with one hand. You will learn the typical movements of Menorcan dressage and finally you will be able to do the spectacular and peculiar bot (a tradition from the local fiestas where the horses rear up on their hind legs).

THERAPY
EQUINOTHERAPY
Equine therapy is a therapeutic and educational method that uses horses with a multidisciplinary approach in the areas of health, pedagogy and horsemanship.
This therapy uses the horse as a promoter of both physical and psychological benefits.
HYPOTHERAPY
Hypotherapy consists of taking advantage of the therapeutic principles of the horse to treat people with physical disabilities, whether congenital or acquired. It is based on aspects such as the transmission of body heat from the horse’s body to the person, rhythmic impulses and three-dimensional movement. Sessions are led by a physical therapist.
THERAPEUTIC EQUITATION
Through contact with the horse and the motivation it generates, solutions are sought out for the learning and adaptation problems that people affected by a disability present. It increases motivation, stimulates affectivity, improves attention and concentration, stimulates tactile, visual, auditory and olfactory sensitivity, helps the learning of actions and increases the capacity for independence.

Yes, all riders are provided with a helmet.
We recommend wearing comfortable clothing and sports or closed shoes, not flip flops.
Yes, we have very well trained horses that have a lot of experience. They are calm so that any adult or child without any horse riding experience will be able to take part. Children can go on horseback, either alone or on a rope lead by a guide, so that they feel safer. We also have horses for more experienced riders.
We have horses for all levels: first-time or unsure riders can ride one of our calmest horses. There is also the option of the guide going along or accompanying the horse lead by a rope. Our horses will surprise you with their kindness and composure.
Just as we have very calm horses for inexperienced riders, we also have horses in top physical shape. After checking that you have the appropriate level, under our instruction, you can go on a trot and gallop excursion.
We have different races of horses with diverse physical aspects. We will choose the best horse for you, according to your level and your physical conditions. In this way you will be able to fully enjoy the excursion, with an appropriate horse for you and your abilities.
